With just a couple of days left in Bangkok, we decided to just chillax. Both last year and this year, we visited Benchakitti Park. It's such an amazing green space that we decided to visit the other side of the park for our last outing in the city, Benchakitti Forest Park.

We set out a bit later than planned yesterday, at 12:15pm. Destination: Wat Saket. To get there, we walked through the Sukhumvit district to the Nana Nua Pier, and from there traversed the Khlong Saem Saep canal via the local express boat service.

After months of dreaming and planning, we're back in Bangkok! Despite our very quiet rural life back home, we love Bangkok. It really is a city of contrast: urban but green, loud but peaceful, hot but refreshing. It feels great to be back!
